Development and Land Use
The District of Saanich recognizes QCHCA as an organization that works with, and on behalf of, the community on land use issues including Local Area Plans (LAPs), subdivision and development applications, parks planning, etc. We assist residents by providing information on prospective developments, advice on how to participate and to make their concerns known to Saanich, developers and others. In this way, QCHCA encourages and enables our residents to shape our community for the future. This is QCHCA's process for our participation in the application development process.
QCHCA maintains an inventory of all active development applications including LAPs and large scale corridor plans.
