CHUFF - (Quadra) Cedar Hill Urban Food Farmers
CHUFF a friendly group of experienced and wanna-be food growers sprouted Spring 2022, through QCHCA’s Climate Action initiative. CHUFF's goal is to reduce Saanich's ecological and carbon footprint by inspiring our neighbours to grow and consume more local food year round and eliminate food waste. We gather one Sunday morning a month in a member’s garden to share our experience and quandaries. Potlucks, seed swaps, tips on preserving, barn raising-style work parties are planned too. New members welcome, especially new-to-food-growing families!
