Saanich Emergency Program : Elk Lake fault line/Tsunami Risk

The Saanich Emergency Program will provide a free talk on Monday May 7th at 7 to 8 pm at Cedar Hill Rec. Centre. The speaker will be Theron Finley, PhD candidate at the UVic School of Earth and Ocean Sciences. He will discuss the recent discovery of the Elk Lake fault line, seismic hazards and risks, and how to prepare for an earthquake or tsunami in our region. Please register in advance at 250-475-7121.
