What is a Pollinator Corridor and Why does it Matter
November 12, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
On Saturday Nov. 12th from 10 am to 12 pm, you are invited to attend a citizen science initiative at Cedar Hill Rec. Center. The project will focus on identifying gaps in pollinator corridors in our area. Learn why pollinators are so important for our environment and food security. Two students from UVic’s community mapping program will lead the session, their goal is to build an interactive map of our region that will show existing pollinator habitats and where new corridors need to be developed.
