Dr. Robert Gifford is a professor in the Department of Psychology at UVic. On tuesday Oct. 26th at 7 pm he will give a talk about the psychological barriers that prevent us from taking action on climate change. While we may have good intentions, and accept the importance of addressing climate change and environmental sustainability, he explains why we do not take sufficient action to deal with these urgent problems.
