Saanich Parks & Public Works Yard Tour 2026

If you’ve primarily used the yard waste drop off at the Saanich Yard – why not come out for a tour of the rest of the Saanich Operations Centre.

Venue: Saanich Parks & Public Works Yard (1040 McKenzie Avenue)
 
Visitors of all ages are welcome to attend an interactive tour. Try your hand at operating a garbage truck extender arm, check out the size of traffic lights and underground pipes up close, see where we create Saanich street and traffic signs and much more!
 
Staff will lead visitors through hands-on stations to learn more about the services our parks and public works teams provide. Please arrive early to see it all!
