Pollinator Companion Walk

The QCHCA Climate Action Group invites you to join us for a Pollinator Companion Walk on Mother’s Day, sunday May 8th, at 10;30 am. Danee Lambourne, founder of www.edenproject.ca, will lead a neighbourhood walk and explore pollinator corridors and xeriscape gardens. Pesticide use, urbanization and climate change have a damaging effect on pollinators, yet 90 % of our flowering plants depend on them in order to reproduce. Learn how we can help to restore the native plant habitat, add biodiversity and provide nutrition for essential species such as bees, butterflies, moths and birds. Meet at 1279 Tattersall Drive at 10;30 am. The event is free but please pre-register by emailing qchca3003@gmail.com.
