Cedar Hill Urban Food Farmers (CHUFF) Food Garden Tour

Who we are: CHUFF – (Quadra) Cedar Hill Urban Food Farmers) – a growing group of both gonna-be and experienced food growers that formed just this Spring in your neighbourhood. CHUFF is a volunteer initiative of the Quadra Cedar Hill Community Association’s Climate Action Group.

 Come and join us at our fun filled events, offering great information on growing food, what works, the challenges and tips for a diversity of growing options. Our latest tour offers you a chance to see what a garden looks like that last year grew sufficient calories to sustain a family for 60 days! Plus the experienced hosts will provide some great ideas on pest control including:

Things We’ve Tried and Things That Died,

Our host will demonstrate dealing with invasive creatures

Slugs and Snails, and trapped Rat tails.
