Canada Day Activities

July 1

Looking to check out some great Canada Day activities?

All activities are July 1st unless noted otherwise.
 
Victoria’s Inner Harbour:
🍁 11am and running late into the evening, including Indigenous ceremonies, an International Food Village and live music
🍁 11am to 7pm, Kid’s Zone near the Museum
🍁 11am to 10:30pm, Global Food Truck Village
🍁 10:20pm, fireworks 
 
Gorge Waterway:
🍁 8:30am to 11am, pancake breakfast
🍁 9am to 9:30am, fun family parade
🍁 8:30am to 4pm, car show, Gorge on Art, food trucks, canoe rides, Canada Day Market, busker’s corner, Main Stage Entertainment, Strawberry Tea, and kids’ inflatables and activities
 
Huntingdon Manor Hotel and Pendray Inn (on Belleville St):
🍁 8am to 11am, this free, family-friendly gathering invites visitors and locals alike to enjoy a complimentary breakfast with all the fixings while taking in the festive waterfront atmosphere
 
Legislature:
🍁 11am to Noon, 10th Annual Canada Day Drumming event! Bring your drums, pots and pans and make some joyous noise
 
Memorial Drag Ball Game:
🍁 Noon to 3pm, enjoy a beautiful day with friends and family at this multi-generational picnic Vic West park. Gather for baseball, community picnic, laughs, and—of course—community!
 
Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse:
🍁 10am to 4:30pm, festivities feature live music, historic weapons demonstrations, a 21-gun salute, and interactive community booths, alongside engaging heritage and nature programs for all ages
 
Sidney Days:
🍁 June 30th – fireworks on the Sidney waterfront at 10:15pm
🍁 July 1st – Sidney Lions pancake breakfast at Mary Winspear Centre from 8am to 10am (fundraiser with pancakes, 2 sausages and a beverage for $10)
🍁 July 1st – parade on Beacon Avenue from 11:30am to 12:30pm
