The Cedar Hill Cross Road corridor is a 3.0km segment of road that provides an east-west connection from McKenzie Avenue to the businesses at Shelbourne Street and onwards to the University of Victoria and the District of Oak Bay. There are hundreds of local properties along the corridor and it regularly experiences congestion at peak times.
The District of Saanich is undertaking a traffic study for 2.1km of the Cedar Hill Cross Road corridor, from McKenzie Avenue to Ophir Street. By identifying cost-effective mitigation measures, the study is meant to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
The District is interested to hear about your experiences to help improve safety for vulnerable users along this roadway. We encourage you to complete the survey here by April 14th.
