Percy Bailey ( 1881-1970) and his wife Elizabeth (1877-1968) had lived in the
Tattersall area since 1918 . He was an auto mechanic and established his own business,
P.E. Bailey and Son Ltd. On View St.
The Arts and Crafts house was designed and built by Arthur Stewart in 1930 . It has a
brick clad foundation, arched windows and doorway, and a stone terrace and steps.
The property was subdivided in the 1990’s and the new adjacent houses were built in a
similar architectural style.
